ICML SMS/Text Messaging Terms
The International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) sends transactional text messages only to candidates and authorized employees who affirmatively agree to receive them.
Program Description
Depending on the service requested, ICML text messages may include:
- Exam-related transactional messages, such as registration, scheduling, or administrative information, when a candidate or authorized employee opts in during the applicable exam process.
- A six-digit security code when a candidate requests SMS access to the ICML Candidate Portal.
ICML SMS messages are not marketing or promotional messages.
Consent
Where SMS is offered, you consent by providing a mobile number and affirmatively selecting the separate SMS consent option or the applicable security-code request. SMS consent is optional. It is not a condition of purchasing an ICML product or service, applying for or taking an exam, or accessing an account by an available non-SMS method.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies. Candidate Portal codes are sent when requested. Exam-related message frequency depends on the exam activity for which you opted in.

Opt Out and Help
Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming your request.

Opting out of SMS does not prevent you from using available email or other non-SMS methods.
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
ICML uses mobile numbers and messaging consent information only to provide the transactional messages requested. ICML does not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information only as needed to deliver the requested messages for ICML and may not use it for their own marketing.
